Aquila High School opened its doors in 2022 to serve the vibrant community of Fisantekraal. Situated in an area that faces significant challenges, including seasonal unemployment rates reaching as high as 60-80% and the impact of gang-related activities, our school stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity.

Initially known as Fisantekraal High 2, we rebranded as Aquila High School, inspired by the Latin word for "eagle." This powerful symbol reflects our vision for our learners: to rise above their circumstances, focus on their aspirations, and soar to success.

As a young and dynamic institution, our staff is dedicated to growing with the school and nurturing the potential of every learner. Together, we aim to create a positive and transformative impact on our learners and the broader community, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.
